East Tennessee PBS Celebrates Appalachain Cuisine Special Dinner Event at JC Holdway

Calling all foodies and food enthusiasts! Join us for an exclusive, intimate event with East Tennessee legends in the Farm to Table movement. Enjoy truly authentic local cuisine and great conversation at a gathering of friends - Tuesday, May 15, 2018. This is a one of a kind event that will give attendees special insight to the burgeoning culinary scene of East Tennessee and access to three area leaders in the East Tennessee Food world, Including Master Gardener and Seed Saver John Coykendall, Allan Benton from Benton's Smoky Mountain Hams and the owner of J.C. Holdway and Chef, Joseph Lenn.

This fine dining experience will be like no other. In addition to special menu will be prepared by former Blackberry Farms Chef, Joseph Lenn using locally sourced products including poultry from Benton's Smokey Mountain Hams and produce that is native to our area each course will have a beverage pairing. And, attendees will have special access to our three hosts who will be dining with us. It will be an evening of great food, great people and something area foodies won't want to miss.

J.C. Holdway is East Tennessee's best new restaurant according to Esquire magazine and owner/chef Lenn is known for his creative farm to table menus, with locally sourced products including Benton's Bacon.
